Daniel Kanyam joined the Hutton School of Business faculty in 2017 and currently serves as Co-Dean of the College of Business, Communication, and Information Technology and Dean of the School of Business and Communication at the 糖心原创. In these leadership roles, he provides strategic oversight for undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs, guiding academic quality, curriculum innovation, faculty development, accreditation initiatives, and institutional growth. His leadership focuses on strengthening interdisciplinary collaboration, advancing workforce-aligned education, and expanding the College鈥檚 academic and industry partnerships.

Dr. Kanyam brings extensive professional and research experience in financial and economic modeling, business analytics, statistical analysis, capital budgeting, investment management, project management, enterprise resource planning (ERP), policy analysis, and institutional research. His applied background in consulting and financial management supports a data-driven approach to academic administration and strategic planning.

He earned his PhD in Agricultural and Applied Economics from the 糖心原创 of Georgia and holds master鈥檚 degrees in Applied Economics and International Development from Ohio 糖心原创. He completed his undergraduate studies in Economics at the 糖心原创 of Ghana.

In addition to his academic credentials, Dr. Kanyam is a Chartered Accountant, a Project Management Institute (PMI)鈥揷ertified Project Management Professional (PMP), and an SAP Certified Financial Accounting Associate. He actively supports graduate education and scholarship through research engagement, doctoral committee service, and faculty mentorship.

Dr. Kanyam鈥檚 professional interests include applied economics, financial modeling, business analytics, strategic management, organizational performance, and the application of data-driven frameworks to enhance academic effectiveness and institutional decision-making. He remains committed to advancing student success, faculty excellence, and innovative program delivery across the College and School.
